Submission Deadline

Please refer to the Fusion Art website and/or the submission guidelines for each month's competition submission deadline.

Artist Statement/Bio

It is required that the artist provide a short Bio or Artist Statement (500 Word Limit), written in the third person. This is your opportunity to tell us a little bit about yourself, including your artistic training, inspiration, media choice, any special techniques used or anything that you might like people to know about you and your art. If you have a website, please include your website URL and/or email address so we can refer collectors and buyers to you. Please note that any bios that exceed the word limit will be edited.

For Artist Spotlight a Bio or Artist statement will be included in the overall evaluation of the artist's entry and artists who neglect to include a Bio or Artist statement will automatically be disqualified.  Entry fees are not refundable even if an artist is disqualified for any reason. Although only one is required, it is strongly recommended an artist include both a bio and artist statement and excepts from either one may be included in the official press release or article announcing the exhibition.

Sales

Fusion Art does not engage directly in selling the artwork featured in any of its online exhibitions on the Fusion Art website.  Fusion Art does not represent artists in the online exhibitions on its website. All inquiries from potential buyers who see the artwork on the Fusion Art website will be directed to the artist for negotiation.

Sales that originate through Fusion Art's Artsy.net online gallery will be subject to a separate agreement between Fusion Art and the artists. The artwork does not need to be for sale to be included in Fusion Art's Arsty gallery.  The top 5 winning artists in each category will receive the pertinent information regarding this award when they receive the email informing them they have won.

In addition, each year Fusion Art will host an annual group show in Palm Springs, or another city chosen by the gallery, that includes all the Best in Show and Artist Spotlight winners from the previous twelve months of online exhibitions. For sales that occur during the annual group show, Fusion Art will take the standard industry 50% commission on any sale.

For the 2nd Annual Women Artists art competition, the gallery invites both 2D and 3D submissions from women artists, only, regardless of their location or their experience or education in the art field.

Historically  women artists have not received the respect and recognition that their  talent deserves. Fusion Art wants to honor the greatness and talent of  women artists.

This is an international open competition so any subject  matter and any media is acceptable. The work can range from realism to  surrealism to abstraction and all women artists, over the age of 18, are  encouraged to submit their best 2D and 3D representational and  non-representational art and photography.
