If you have a website, please include your website URL and/or email address so we can refer collectors and buyers to you. Please note that any bios that exceed the word limit will be edited.

For Artist Spotlight a Bio or Artist statement will be included in the overall evaluation of the artist's entry and artists who neglect to include a Bio or Artist statement will automatically be disqualified.  Entry fees are not refundable even if an artist is disqualified for any reason. Although only one is required, it is strongly recommended an artist include both a bio and artist statement and excepts from either one may be included in the official press release or article announcing the exhibition.

Sales

Fusion Art does not engage directly in selling the artwork featured in any of its online exhibitions on the Fusion Art website.  Fusion Art does not represent artists in the online exhibitions on its website. All inquiries from potential buyers who see the artwork on the Fusion Art website will be directed to the artist for negotiation.

Sales that originate through Fusion Art's Artsy.net online gallery will be subject to a separate agreement between Fusion Art and the artists. The artwork does not need to be for sale to be included in Fusion Art's Arsty gallery.  The top 5 winning artists in each category will receive the pertinent information regarding this award when they receive the email informing them they have won.

In addition, each year Fusion Art will host an annual group show in Palm Springs, or another city chosen by the gallery, that includes all the Best in Show and Artist Spotlight winners from the previous twelve months of online exhibitions. For sales that occur during the annual group show, Fusion Art will take the standard industry 50% commission on any sale.

Guest Judge - Stephen Baumbach - Stephen Baumbach Photography, Palm Springs

For this competition, the gallery is pleased to announce we have invited Palm Springs based, Award winning photographer, Stephen Baumbach, to be the Guest Judge.

For  over 45 years, Stephen has pursued the thing that has captivated him  since High School…the art of photography. He has taught in classrooms,  workshops and been exhibited in numerous shows nationwide.  His images  range in scope from rodeos to national and international architectural  icons.  Now settled in Palm Springs, CA since October 2014, his eye is on the surrounding desert…the off-the-grid and outlier areas… that yield  an extraordinary beauty he captures with his artists’ eye and his  trusty Canon.

The  years between 2005 and 2008 were the turning point for Stephen as he  spiraled into the use of digital imagery. Today all his photographs are  produced digitally and he personally finishes each print himself. He  approaches everything as though he was looking at it for the first time,  producing an energy that explodes in his work.

Stephen  will personally select the  the winners and finalists included in this  exhibition. We are thrilled and honored he has agreed to jury this  competition.  Stephen has won awards in Fusion Art competitions in the past including Best in Show in Cityscapes and 2nd Colorful Abstractions and 2nd Place in Waterscapes and 2nd Annual Leaves & Petals.  To learn more about Stephen and to see his work, please  visit his website.
